The Makita 40 Volt Max XGT® 1-1/8 Inch AVT rotary hammer is powered by a brushless motor that delivers a full 2.8 ft-lb of impact energy, with 0 to 980 RPM and 0 to 5000 BPM. The XGT® technology delivers up to 135 of 3/8 Inch holes per charge when using one 40 Volt max XGT® 4.0 Amp-hour battery. Active feedback-sensing technology which electronically turns off the motor if rotation of bit is suddenly forced to stop and Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT®) for reduced vibration. AVT counterbalances that uses air pressure to move counterweight pistons in the opposite direction of the drive piston to actively reduce vibration. It offers enhanced durability in harsh job site conditions. The vibration-absorbing back handle and side handle minimizes vibration thereby reducing user fatigue.
