Contractor Tool Supply uses UPS, FedEx, USPS and others to ship its products to you, unless the items ordered are bulky or overweight in which case, we utilize Freight. We only ship to the 48 contiguous United States.
The "Get it by" time listed on the product page is estimated on many factors, and is an estimate, not a guaranteed deliver-by date.
While we strive to have your order to you as soon as possible, factors outside of our control may delay your shipment. While most orders arrive between 3-5 days after being placed, some orders may take longer to arrive, and some orders may arrive earlier.
After you place your order:
Delays due to Acts of God, weather or other unusual circumstances are not refundable.
In order to protect our customers, we reserve to right to ship any order signature required.
We offer UPS expedited shipping to the lower 48 states on a limited number of products. If you are not displayed an option at checkout for expedited shipping, then that option is not available for the product(s) that you are purchasing.
Items that are large, heavy and/or bulky may require a Freight delivery. Free shipping promotions only apply to items that can be shipped via UPS Ground. Please contact us for information about shipping freight/LTL orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada.
Please note that freight items require you to select to either have liftgate service or to not. Without liftgate service, you will be responsible for removing/offloading your order from the truck. If your site has a forklift or loading dock, you may wish to choose the no liftgate option. If liftgate is required at time of delivery but not selected during ordering, you will be responsible for any additional charges.
Tracking information will be emailed to you when your order is picked up by the shipping carrier. If you haven't received an email with your tracking number within 5 days after placing your order, please double check your spam folder to see if it has found its way there. If it's not there, you can click on the "Order Status" link throughout our website to view your order status and tracking number.
Should your items arrive damaged you may either refuse delivery and have the driver note the damage at the time of delivery or you may accept it and contact our customer service department (customerservice@contractortool.com) for assistance with either a replacement or a partial credit if applicable.
Any claims regarding your shipment must be filed with us within 7 business days of delivery.
STOLEN PACKAGES
Unfortunately, packages do get stolen when delivered if left unattended. We do not refund or replace stolen packages.
To help prevent packages from being stolen, we recommend having your package delivered to a person you trust if you cannot be available to accept delivery of your package.
If your package has been stolen, you may be able to file a claim under your renters insurance or your homeowners insurance policy. Lastly, your credit card may offer purchase protection which may cover stolen packages once delivered.
