Steel-made router collet extension with 1/2-Inch Collet featuring 1/2-Inch Shank. Tool has a 3-15/32-Inch overall length. Every woodworker has experienced a bit that is just a little too short for the job, especially in router table applications or with jigs and templates that eat up the length of standard bits. Here is an easy, inexpensive solution. CMT's extension fits any 1/2" collet router, accepts and 1/2" shank bit and 2-1/2" to the bits length.
